New site uses crowd funding to help veterans

GoFundVeterans was recently featured on the Atlanta’s NBC nightly news with one of the projects started by an Army Veteran, Andrew Kroll.

Andrew is about half way through a new program teaching him the language of coding. Coding is a language used to create computer software, apps and websites. The series of letters and symbols that he crafts will allow him to turn whatever is in his head into a site you can find on the internet.

The DigitalCrafts coding boot camp designed to teach him those marketable skills in four months does not come cheap. It is an accelerated, full time, $11,000 program that required a computer upgrade and move to Atlanta.

Andrew has started a project on the free platform GoFundVeterans.com to help absorb the cost because the Federal Government does not offer support.
